After 18 years of being together, actors Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa are getting divorced. Bonet, who goes by the legal name of Lilakoi Moon, submitted papers to dissolve her marriage to Momoa in a Los Angeles County court on Monday. The couple had revealed their separation almost two years ago.

The papers state that the cause of the divorce is irreconcilable differences. The papers also say that both parties have waived their right to financial support and have reached an agreement on how to divide their property. The papers say that they should share the custody of their two children, a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy

Momoa has starred in the Aquaman films and the TV show Game of Thrones. Bonet was a famous actor on The Cosby Show, its spinoff A Different World, and the movies High Fidelity and Enemy of the State.

They began their relationship in 2005, but only got married legally in 2017. Their divorce papers state that they separated in October 2020, which was over a year before they made it public. They will have to wait at least six months for a judge to finalize their divorce.

This was Momoa’s first marriage and Bonet’s second. She was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz and has another daughter, actor Zoë Kravitz, with him.
